Flatland Brewing Company in Elk Grove is a small-batch brewery and tasting room with a local cult following. Brewing everything from India Pale Ales to sour beers, Flatland Brewing Company has something delicious for every palate. Check their website for the current beer list and stop in for a tasting Thursday through Sunday.
Tilted Mash Brewing was created by two great friends who love everything and anything about craft beer. Try the “Franken Pine”, “Summer in the Grove”, “Belgian in a Strange Land”, or one of the dozen other seasonal brews on tap. Waterman Brewing Company is a 10-barrel brew house that serves great tasting beers directly from the source. The brewery was founded in 2016 and has a 50-seat tasting room open 7 days a week. The tasting room is the perfect location to catch a sporting event on TV, play corn hole or foosball, or enjoy some live music.
Dreaming Dog Brewery is a microbrewery and tap room in Elk Grove created by David and Liz Brown. Founded on the idea of providing a neighborhood gathering space, Dreaming Dog Brewery offers English and Belgian-style beers, games, entertainment, and a 2,000 square-foot taproom. The Grapes of Elk Grove
McConnell Estates Winery is owned by the Wackman Family. For five generations, the Wackman’s have been farming the land just north of the Cosumnes River along Highway 99 in Elk Grove. The beautiful McConnell Estates’ house built over 100 years ago, is now a bustling winery and tasting room where you can come taste locally grown, crushed and fermented wines. Visit them Saturday or Sunday to taste their varietals.
Vannatta Winery specializes in European varietals that are hand-crafted, small-lot wines of limited production and exceptional quality. Sip on wines in the open indoor/outdoor tasting area and stroll through the vineyard. Sample selected handcrafted, winery only vintages, or enjoy wines by the glass. Bring a picnic, bring the dog, play some bocce ball and enjoy a lovely afternoon in this fun and charming setting.
Heringer Estates tasting room is located inside the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, offering visitors a refreshing and friendly experience. Sip and soak up the rustic charm of bare brick walls and fresh country air. Hand-crafted in small lots, Heringer Estates wines reflect the characteristics of the vineyard of origin and a passion to create premium wines.
Bogle Vineyards was created on Home Ranch, the original parcel of 8 acres and the location of the first vines planted in 1968. The site of the winery’s tasting room, the vineyard has expanded to a total of 110 acres where Petite Sirah, Chardonnay and Merlot vines thrive. Their tasting room is open 7 days a week pouring refreshing whites and rich, luscious reds.
Miner’s Leap Winery is a family owned boutique winery in Clarksburg. Featuring a century old rustic barn, the grounds of Miner’s Leap Winery is the perfect scene for your wine tasting adventures. The sprawling location is beautifully landscaped and features picnic tables, ideal for afternoon snack with two and four-legged friends (yes, dogs are welcome).
