Elk Grove’s modern community center, District56, is an art enthusiasts dream location. District56 has over a dozen public artworks on its’ 56-acre campus.

Ravishing Retire by Trevor O‑Tool

Dancers and musicians are sure to find Ravishing Retire captivating. The sculpture displays a 14-foot-high dancer in motion, located directly outside the Senior Center.

Literature by Adrian Litman

Book lovers will be enthralled with Literature just outside the Center at District 56. This sculpture was chosen by the Elk Grove Arts Commission as a historical symbol of the migration of farm laborers to California.

This 24-foot sculpture is an abstract aluminum piece, captivating evening visitors with its’ multi-colored LED lights.
