Celebrate at the Center
At the heart of District 56 is The Center, a meeting facility for professionals, brides, seniors, and everyone in between. The 32,000 square foot building features a vast Main Hall, intimate Conference Room, and spacious kitchen for your meeting and event needs. The Center is also home to Café Elk Grove, a quaint place to enjoy a sandwich or smoothie, and a Senior Center with activities for those fifty and older.

Whether you are hosting a meeting or large conference, District 56 has accommodations for every group. The Center makes it easy to gather for large sessions in the spacious ballrooms, connect with one another in their breakout rooms, and network on the outdoor terrace with catered meals.

Unwind at the Preserve
For the outdoor adventurers and avid nature lovers, The Preserve is the place to be. Stroll the trails along the 4.3-acre pond, visit the engaging Sensory Plaza, or enjoy lunch at the Picnic Shelter or Overlook Point. The Playground and Play Pond are both great for children to run and explore. One visit to The Preserve and you’ll find yourself uncovering a number of unique features.
Compete at the Aquatics Center
Make a splash at the Aquatics Center for an exciting summer day or a competitive swim meet. The Aquatics Center features the area’s only 50-meter competition pool and a 25-yard instructional pool that is perfect for swim meets, water polo, artistic swimming and so much more. If you’re looking for a playful afternoon, The Aquatics Center also has a lazy river, two water slides, and a recreational pool. We encourage you to visit the Aquatics Center this spring.
Fun Facts About District 56
- District 56 is home to the city’s first dedicated Veterans Hall, an incredible place for remembrance and fellowship for the veterans of our community and beyond.
- Administered by Green Business Certification Inc., District 56 is LEED Gold Certified. The 56-acre campus contains water efficient landscaping, low-emitting construction materials, light pollution reduction practices, public transportation access, on-site renewable energy, and many more sustainable credentials.
