What to know: With wide open space Jacinto is a great place for large dogs to get their energy out. Make sure your little dogs don’t mind play dates with larger breeds since it’s a one-park-fits-all location. BYOB. (Bring your own bags)
2. Oasis Park Dog Park

Why we like it: This place has it all! A doggy drinking fountain, small and large dog areas with structures for shade and even an agility course so Fido can practice his Best In Show routine!
What to know: Bring the whole family and spend the day. Other than the dog park, Oasis has a playground, splash park, picnic tables, and tennis courts… something for everyone!
3. Laguna Community Dog Park
9014 Bruceville Rd
Why we like it: With colorful dog murals, benches for resting, and plenty of shady trees to cool off under, you’ll feel right at home at Laguna Community Dog Park.
What to know: No need to BYO Bags & Bowls- there are water fountains and doggie bags onsite just in case you make a spontaneous visit.
4. Del Meyer Park
9265 Elk Grove Florin Rd
Why we like it: This shady trail follows a creek, meaning you can walk your pup in comfort and enjoy great views of wildlife along the way.
What to know: Del Meyer is connected to Jack E Hill Park and is an access point for the Laguna Creek Trail, dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
5. Jungkeit Park

Why we like it: The large, well-maintained field at Jungkeit is perfect for running, playing fetch, and working on some new tricks.
What to know: Invite your family and friends (and their pups!) for a picnic and have a fun filled day with the help of picnic tables and playground equipment.
6. Machado Dairy Park

Why we like it: Machado Dairy has 10 acres for your dog to explore. Enjoy a walk down the paved paths or play in the open grassy fields.

What to know: The paved walkway is surrounded by trees making this a great break from the sun on hot days.

Why we like it: This paved trail has lots of tree coverage and will make you and your pet want to stay outdoors for hours.
What to know: Bring your tennis racket - the well-maintained tennis courts are perfect for a match or two.

Why we like it: Calling all swimmers and water enthusiasts! The pond at Guttridge is a great spot for your dog to play and cool off during hot Summer days.
