Elk Grove Pride – Kick-off Summer at the annual Elk Grove Pride event celebrating love, diversity, and equality. This lively gathering showcases and supports the LGBTQIA+ community through fun activities, artist booths, live entertainment, and educational resources.
Salute to Red, White & Blue – Every Fourth of July, the City of Elk Grove celebrates the birth of our nation with a spectacular firework display. The community-wide celebration features vendors, food trucks, a pie-eating contest, a bike and stroller parade, live entertainment and much more!
Strauss Festival – An enchanting, magical and romantic atmosphere is what the Strauss Festival at Elk Grove Regional Park is all about. The event takes place every July and offers visitors a chance to enjoy an evening of dancing and performances to music by the family of Austrian composer Johann Strauss.
Multicultural Festival – Travel the world without leaving Elk Grove! Every August, Elk Grove hosts the Multicultural Festival, a community-wide celebration of diversity. Visitors will learn about other cultures through music, art, ethic food and entertainment.
Experience the season with sparkle and shine at the 3rd annual Illumination Holiday Festival, a multicultural family celebration at District 56. Find out how other countries celebrate the holidays, shop the international holiday marketplace, enjoy tasty treats from around the world, and get your family holiday photo in front of the City's Ribbon Tree! In addition to the festival, residents are encouraged to enter or line the streets to watch the beloved Holiday of Lights Parade.

The lighting of the Ribbon Tree
Dickens Dickens Street Faire – A perfect way to kick off the Yuletide Season is at the Dickens Street Faire! Held every November in Old Town Elk Grove, the old-fashioned event features local retailers, craft vendors, holiday music, delicious holiday foods, Christmas characters, and a Festival of Lights Parade.
