Historic Days at Mahon Ranch 2025 brings California history to life, covering 1830–1895 with authentic re-enactments, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations. Experience gold panning, blacksmithing, calligraphy, campfire cooking, and more! Meet historical figures like John Sutter, Harriet Tubman, and Abraham Lincoln as re-enactors share the stories of early California. Don’t miss stagecoach rides and interactive exhibits showcasing the challenges and triumphs of the past!
Friday, May 2: School Days (Reservation Only)

- Student admission: $6 per person, with free admission if returning on Saturday and Sunday for the public events
- Teachers and accompanying adults are free during Friday’s School Days
- Group checks for School Days should be made payable to Mahon Ranch
Saturday, May 3 - Sunday, May 4 (Open to Public)
- 9AM to 6PM
- $10 per adult and a $6 fee per child
- Family admission is $25
- Kids under 4 are free
Wear suitable clothing, shoes, and hats as Mahon Ranch is a total outdoors experience. You will be walking from station to station during the event. Food vendors will be set up at this time. Porta Potties are available. Feel free to take photos and enjoy your day!
